Skiing has taken priority over blogging. Regular programming will resume this Thursday. I’m sorry for any and all pain my blogging inconsistency has caused. In other news Big Sky is a gnarly mountain.

I went to a western dance class last night with my gracious Jackson hosts, JK and TK. One of the instructors, Wayne, was probably in his 80s yet glided across the dance floor with spritely enthusiasm. The lesson: don’t stop dancing.

I love waking up at 6 without an alarm clock. Thanks to jet leg, that is exactly what happened this morning. I’m sitting in the hotel lobby by the fireplace, sipping coffee, and blogging – what could be better?!?

I started reading a biography of Robert Oppenheimer (physicist and father of the atomic bomb). The guy struggled with depression, mental breakdowns, and a lack of direction in his early twenties. I really don’t have much today. Heading to Jackson hole. Hoping gold continues to rally. It’s 55 degrees in Boston. I have committed to throwing in a last minute application to B school. 🤷

I walked to grab coffee a bit later than normal today, and the kids of the west village were out and about on their way to school. They were everywhere – swinging, screaming, and hugging dogs. The environment was electric. I’m looking forward to having my own.
