Always be selling.

I think selling/promotion is one component of the entrepreneurial matrix where I struggle mightily. The act of self promotion makes me feel quite uncomfortable. I can usually force myself to promote my products sporadically, but I’ve never been able to systematically promote anything.

Interestingly I’m at a point with both Manly Nuts as well as Recipeeper where we (I’m working with a partner on each) have an adequate initial product and should now focus all of our efforts on distribution (i.e. selling/promotion).

It’s time to build my selling muscle (let me know if you have any helpful books or resources).

Also, I think this is a great example of why I want to be entrepreneur – it forces me to do uncomfortable things that help me grow as a person.
