Inputs not outputs

I was reflecting on the goals I set at the beginning of 2021 and realized that I reached most of the goals that were within my control (ski x number of days), but failed at the goals that described outcomes (generate x revenue from a business).

I’ll keep this in mind when I set my goals for this upcoming year.
