I was listening to a podcast interview with the founder of Eight Sleep last night (a smart mattress company, thanks DF), and much of the discussion focused on improving the quality of one’s sleep. One interesting outcome of improved sleep quality is that you can spend less time in bed while maintaining the same health benefits. The founder thought we could probably get people down to 6 hours in bed/night over time vs the current 8ish. An extra 2 hours/day with no downside?!?
The ultimate productivity hack is simply being more focused when engaging in any activity such that your efficiency improves. Whether it’s sleep or work, improving the quality within the given time block allows you to maintain or improve output while freeing up time.
One task at a time – maximum focus required.
