I went to the Army/Navy football game yesterday (Navy won). It was awesome. It reminded me that being part of team and working towards a joint goal provides a tremendous amount of purpose and satisfaction. I miss being part of a team.
Even at my previous job where the mission was simply to make money…working with other people towards that shared goal gave me purpose and satisfaction that my current life lacks. I thought I wanted to start a business so that I had absolute freedom and autonomy in my life, but I’m starting to think that’s not what I really want.
Working alone can be brutal.
