Now, a quick reflection on my entrepreneurial journey thus far:

I started off building a website that no one used AND barely worked (RIP tradethemacro).

Next I built MacroFade, a website that no one uses (except for me…to this day) BUT does work decently well.

I followed that up with a succession of websites that also worked but did not accomplish much (although The Diet Selector still gets a trickle of random users).

I worked on all of these projects alone. My new approach is to always try to find a partner for a given project.

I’ve partnered up on my current projects that include Manly Nuts, which now has a couple hundred dollars of revenue (even if it consists primarily of pity purchases from friends), and Recipeeper, which has received more web traffic than any other website I’ve built.

Will these 2 projects fail? Probably. But as long as I continue to improve as an entrepreneur, I’m very confident in my long-term success. There are only 2 rules: Don’t run out of money and never give up.
