sourcing nuts

I’ve reached out to several brazil nuts suppliers/distributors. The origin suppliers based in Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia deliver the nuts from forest to US port where they then become my responsibility.

I also found a couple of companies based in US/Canada who handle all logistics (including e-commerce fulfillment, I think) but presumably take some margin (they are very cagey with their pricing).

My thought is to go with a provider who simplifies logistics at the expense of my margin such that I can place all my initial focus on the brand and sales. If Noah’s Nuts (or whatever we end up calling it) grows substantially we can always revisit the supply chain.

I glanced at a business school application…apparently I had forgotten about all the BS in academia.
