I was writing a short diatribe about the lack of clean restaurant food, but then realized I needed to do more research. One thing is clear to me though: if a person wants to avoid eating industrial seed oils, they pretty much have to cook all of their own meals. Even Sweetgreen uses grapeseed and sesame oil.
Chipotle, Sweetgreen, and Panera seem to offer high quality protein, so that’s a step in the right direction.
I’m imagining a restaurant where an individual could eat every meal (and any menu item) there for a month and dramatically improve their health and body composition. Each dish would consist of a protein (of large to very large quantity) and some vegetables (again large quantity) all cooked in EVOO, grass-fed butter, salt, pepper, and whatever spices. We can call it Steak and Broccoli.
Ramble concluded.
